How Russia Can Reap Benefits From WTO
In an opinion editorial in The Moscow Times, former European trade commissioner, Peter Mandelson, explains how Russia can reap the benefits from joining the World Trade Organisation (WTO). The contract that WTO membership implies will encourage the kind of good behaviour the Russian economy needs to diversify. Russia can use WTO membership as the first step in a longer process of economic leadership, engagement and reform.
